Dispatcher – Deck & Crane Operations

Can Ridge Industries is looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our Deck & Crane team.

This is an important operational role in a busy transportation environment involving flatdeck trucks, specialized equipment and mobile crane services. We are looking for someone who enjoys coordinating people and equipment, solving problems, communicating with customers and drivers, and keeping a changing schedule moving throughout the day.

The Role

As a Dispatcher, you will coordinate daily transportation and crane activities while providing responsive service to our customers and ongoing support to our drivers and operators.

Scheduling and dispatching drivers, trucks, trailers and crane equipment

Coordinating customer pickups, deliveries and in office crane work

Communicating job details and schedule changes with drivers and customers

Monitoring jobs throughout the day and responding to changing priorities

Helping resolve scheduling, equipment and operational issues

Ensuring accurate job and dispatch information is maintained in company systems

Working closely with other members of the operations team to maximize equipment utilization and customer service

Supporting safe, efficient and reliable daily operations

What We're Looking For The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in transportation, trucking, logistics or dispatch, with experience in flatdeck, specialized transportation, construction or crane operations considered an asset.

Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities

Communicates clearly and professionally

Remains calm and solutions-focused when plans change

Has strong judgment and problem-solving skills

Understands the importance of both customer service and operational efficiency

Is comfortable using technology and learning new systems

Works well independently while also being a strong team player

Takes ownership and follows through on commitments

Hours & After-Hours Support





This is a full-time position with regular core working hours.

Because transportation does not always operate strictly within business hours, Dispatchers also participate in a shared after-hours and weekend coverage rotation. Our goal is to distribute this responsibility fairly across the dispatch team rather than having after-hours coverage rest with one individual.

Additional details regarding the rotation and compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
