We are looking for a full-time experienced dispatcher.
Duties:
- Answer telephone request
- Handle workloads (create and schedule driver schedules)
- Give directions to company drivers and communicate dispatch to drivers.
- Schedule loads based on safety and load efficiency
- Evening and weekend work will be required.
- Confirm loads have been delivered
- Ensure drivers are performing in a secure/reliable manner
- Manage daily activity of the fleet
- Customer Service
- Knowledge and experience of transportation and logistics
- Advanced computer skills
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma
- Work both independently and in a team environment.
- 3+ years experience in trucking/logistics dispatch
