Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service in both dockside and in-store settings
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions
- Manage food handling procedures adhering to safety and sanitation regulations
- Support food service activities such as serving, upselling menu items, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas
- Ensure proper cash handling practices and balance registers at shift end
- Maintain a clean,



organized environment by following sanitation protocols and food safety guidelines

Skills

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for quick and accurate transactions
- Robust time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills to create positive interactions with guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counts
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
