Duties

Assess each pet’s coat condition, skin health, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming techniques and products

Handle dogs safely and compassionately, ensuring a positive grooming experience for both pet and owner

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to uphold hygiene standards

Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences, provide grooming recommendations, and address any concerns





Assist with heavy lifting when handling large or heavy dogs during bathing or grooming procedures

Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and operational flow

Qualifications

Proven experience in dog grooming or related animal care fields is preferred but not required; Cat experience is beneficial

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients

Ability to lift dogs safely as part of routine grooming tasks

Passionate about animals with a gentle, caring approach that puts pets at ease during grooming sessions

Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as needed for appointment availability
