Duties

- Perform grooming services including bathing, hair trimming, brushing, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and styling according to breed standards or customer preferences
- Assess each dog’s coat condition and skin health to determine appropriate grooming techniques and products
- Handle dogs with care and patience, ensuring a stress-free experience for pets of all temperaments
- Maintain a clean and sanitized grooming station, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide professional advice on pet care
- Manage heavy lifting when handling large or heavy breeds safely and efficiently
- Keep detailed records of grooming services provided, customer preferences, and any health concerns observed





Skills

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with pet owners and team members
- Experience in dog grooming or related animal care fields is preferred but not mandatory; training opportunities are available for motivated candidates
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling larger breeds or equipment
