Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper heavy lifting procedures
- Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and document all transactions accurately
- Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition




- Assist in warehouse operations when not on delivery routes, including moving stock and organizing inventory

Requirements

- Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating large vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
- Experience with forklift operation is highly desirable; certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Prior warehouse experience preferred for understanding inventory handling and moving goods within storage facilities
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to moving heavy items and operating machinery
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctual deliveries and route adherence
