We are seeking a dedicated and professional MTO Approved In-Car Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive driving instruction to new drivers, ensuring they develop protected and confident driving skills. This role involves engaging with students in a positive learning environment, adhering to safety standards, and fostering responsible driving habits.

The Approved Driving

Instructor plays a vital role in helping individuals achieve their driving goals while promoting road safety and compliance with licensing regulations.

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and effective driving lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes
- Prepare students for licensing exams by reviewing traffic laws, safety procedures, and practical skills
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student performance
- Ensure all instructional activities comply with state regulations and safety standards
- Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student confidence and responsibility
- Stay updated on current traffic laws, best teaching practices, and industry standards
- Communicate clearly with students regarding lesson objectives, schedules, and progress

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Mandatory)
- Valid driving instructor licence (Mandatory)




- Own car with dual brake installed with commercial 6D insurance (Mandatory)
- Licensed to work in the city.
- Must pass Police check
- Existing driving school, Uber, taxi, or truck driving experience a significant asset
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a classroom or instructional setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Excellent interpersonal skills to connect effectively with learners of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to remain patient, professional, and encouraging throughout the instruction process
