Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Microcement & Plaster Applicator to join our Toronto installation team.

Previous microcement experience is not required. We are primarily looking for someone who is already comfortable working with trowel-applied materials and understands the importance of surface preparation and high-quality finishing.

Candidates with experience in drywall taping/finishing, stucco, EIFS, plaster, Venetian plaster, concrete finishing or similar trades are strongly encouraged to apply. Training in our specific microcement and decorative finishing systems will be provided.

What You'll Be Doing

- Applying microcement, architectural plaster and other decorative finishes to walls, floors and architectural surfaces
- Preparing substrates prior to finish application
- Trowel application of base coats and finish coats
- Sanding, patching, levelling and refining surfaces
- Installing mesh and reinforcement systems where required
- Producing smooth, consistent, high-quality architectural finishes
- Following installation specifications and established application procedures
- Protecting surrounding finished surfaces and maintaining a clean work workplace
- Working closely with other applicators,



site supervisors and project managers
- Completing installations in high-end residential and commercial environments
- Occasionally travelling for projects outside the Toronto area

Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
- Drywall taping and finishing
- Stucco or EIFS application
- Plastering
- Venetian or decorative plaster
- Concrete finishing
- Painting and high-end surface preparation
- Other skilled trowel-applied finishes

Requirements
- Previous experience in a skilled finishing trade
- Strong trowel and/or drywall finishing skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical installation procedures
- Comfortable sanding and performing detailed surface preparation
- Reliable and able to work as part of a crew
- Comfortable working on active construction sites
- Able to perform physically demanding work and work from ladders/scaffolding when required
- Valid driver's licence preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel for projects is an asset

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
