We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, snow and debris. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to load, transport, and unload materials at various job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring all safety features and equipment are functioning properly.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Assist with loading materials.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in driving a standard dump truck
- MUST have a clean drivers abstract, 5 years driver experience, 5 years proof of insurance and a valid DZ drivers licence
- Familiarity with automotive repair basics to identify minor repairs to supervisor
- Robust understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel.
