Take the lead as a Distribution Coordinator within the District of Summerland’s Electrical Utility team. This permanent full-time role focuses on coordinating electrical projects to maintain service reliability.

Reporting to the Director of Utilities, you will spearhead the planning and execution of essential overhead and underground electrical work. Your collaboration with field crews and stakeholders will ensure smooth project execution and compliance with operational standards. Strong qualifications in electrical distribution and effective communication skills are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:



• Coordinate electrical distribution works for safety and efficiency • Collaborate with contractors and internal teams on project delivery • Oversee maintenance of electrical systems and asset management • Manage service requests for construction projects • Ensure utility standards are met in daily operations

Requirements: • Journeyman Powerline Technician or equivalent qualification • Experience in utility operations and project coordination • Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence • Robust communication and organizational skills • FSR Class A designation is preferred
