Responsibilities

- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and ensuring safety at all times
- Engage children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and educational exercises that stimulate learning
- Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special requirements
- Observe and document children's progress to inform teaching strategies and report any concerns to supervisors

Experience





- Prior classroom experience working with young children is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and positively with children and adults alike
- Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with basic math concepts suitable for early learners enhances your ability to support educational activities
- Previous teaching or caregiving experience will help you thrive in this supportive role

Requirements

- ECA certificate or relevant childcare experience preferred
- Up-to-date CPR & First Aid certification
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check- Up-to-date Immunization Record (including a 2 step TB test)
- Passion for working with children
- Team player with solid communication skills
- Confident and Flexible working with all age groups
