Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Support children during daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
- Foster positive interactions among children to encourage cooperation, sharing, and communication skills
- Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols
- Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies
- Communicate effectively with children, parents,
and team members to ensure a supportive learning atmosphere
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special requirements
Skills
- Prior classroom experience working with young children is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Ability to incorporate basic math concepts into daily activities and learning experiences
- Passion for teaching and supporting the developmental milestones of young learners
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach to caregiving
