Position Summary:

Mini Miracles Daycare is looking to recruit a dynamic daycare teachers for our family style learning and awesome group of children, educators and families. This position will be primarily working with toddlers

Centre is open 6am to 6 pm Monday to Friday

Shifts : 9am to 6pm

Responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to)

- Plan engaging age appropriate activities and lessons that stimulate children’s intellectual social, emotional and physical growth
- Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Maintaining a secure and engaging learning environment
- Fostering positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Ensuring positive, qualified communication with families on an ongoing basis, and respond promptly to all requests
- Enhance social skills in children such as leadership, teamwork, problem solving, conflict resolution and the ability to form meaningful relationships with their peers




- Delivering quality age-appropriate programs that are reflective of the varied interests of the group
- Participate in professional development including staff meetings, workshops and training
- Cleaning and tidying of the facility and ensuring the safe storage of equipment
- Report on a regular basis to Mini Miracles Program Supervisor regarding issues of need and/or concerns
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Level 2/3 ECE
- Minimum of 1 year experience in child care
- First Aid certificate
- Current police check dated within the last 6 months with Vulnerable sector search.
- Speak, write and read English (or good enough English to be understood properly by everyone

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
