Join Edge School as a High School Humanities Instructor for the upcoming academic year starting August 20th, 2026. This full-time chance involves teaching Grade 8 Language Arts, English 10-1, English 20, and Social Studies 20 with a focus on student-centered learning. We are looking for an energetic and passionate teacher who will fully embrace our mission of developing student-athletes.
Candidates should demonstrate nurturing collaboration with staff, students, and parents. A comprehensive understanding of Alberta’s program of studies, as well as teaching expertise at these grade levels, is essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction for Grade 8 LA, English 10-1, English 20, and Social Studies 20
- Engage collaboratively with students and educational stakeholders
- Effectively utilize technology in lesson planning and execution
- Address the unique needs of student-athletes
- Promote character development alongside academic success Requirements:
- Familiarity with Alberta’s educational standards
- Proven background in teaching high school Humanities
