Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and code specifications for wiring layouts.
- Install, assemble, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical systems to efficiently resolve issues.
- Execute wiring, conduit bending, and related tasks for new construction and renovation projects.
- Work in diverse environments including attics, crawl spaces, indoor and outdoor settings, and at heights using ladders.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and track time using technology platform.
- Conduct tests on electrical systems to ensure proper installation and functionality.
- Inspect systems and equipment for safety, malfunctions, and damage.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and company vehicles.




- Provide regular updates on job status to management.

Qualifications:

- Certification: Valid registration number with Skills Trades Ontario.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and schematics; strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in diverse environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and at heights.

Required Tools:

- Personal hand tools.
- Battery-operated drills/impact driver
