The organization is involved in the development, installation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and wind energy projects for a range of residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Solar projects include customized rooftop, parking lot, and ground-mounted installations, while wind projects span both onshore and offshore turbine applications. Role Description The Electrical Engineer will work on-site in Delta State, Nigeria on a contract basis, supporting the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar and wind power systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing electrical designs and layout drawings, performing load calculations, and ensuring safe and efficient power distribution for project sites.



The role involves inspecting and troubleshooting electrical equipment, coordinating with project managers and technicians, and verifying compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures.

The Electrical

Engineer will also prepare technical documentation, support project proposals with engineering inputs, and contribute to system optimization to improve performance and reliability of renewable energy installations.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to renewable energy systems.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design for solar PV and wind turbine projects, including schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout plans.
- Hands-on experience with Power Systems and Power Distribution, including load analysis, protection coordination, and system integration.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience working on-site with installation teams, conducting tests, inspections, and troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure.
- Knowledge of relevant Nigerian and international electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Ability to use engineering software and tools for design, modeling, and documentation (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP or similar).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prior experience in solar PV or wind energy projects is an advantage.
