Job Brief

ACME is looking for an Electromechanical Technician to join our production team.

The candidate will be involved in the electrical and mechanical assembly of our equipment, including low and high voltage electric boilers and filtration equipment. The position involves hands-on assembly, wiring, reading drawings and electrical schematics, and working with different mechanical and electrical components.

We are looking for someone with good mechanical and electrical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in learning our products and manufacturing processes. The candidate will work closely with our production team and department managers to ensure equipment is assembled according to ACME's quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Build and assemble mechanical and electrical components for boilers, strainers and related equipment.
- Install and run wiring on production equipment.
- Assemble electrical components and panels according to drawings and instructions.
- Read and understand bills of materials (BOM), assembly drawings and basic electrical schematics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, crimping tools and multimeters.
- Assist with basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled equipment.
- Follow production procedures and quality requirements.
- Work with the production team to improve assembly processes and product quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S practices.
- Follow all company Health and Safety rules and procedures.
- Maintain quality according to our Quality Management System.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required





- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical or electromechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Good mechanical aptitude and comfortable working with tools.
- Experience with electrical wiring and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and basic electrical schematics.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, crimping tools and multimeters.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Well organized and able to follow instructions and procedures.

Assets

The following experience is considered an asset:
- DEP, DEC or other technical training in electromechanics, industrial mechanics, electricity or a related field.
- Experience reading P&ID;, 2D or 3D drawings.
- Knowledge of motors and motor controllers.
- Experience with low- or high-voltage equipment.
- Experience with industrial boilers or similar equipment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
