If you're motivated by a fast-paced work environment, enjoy collaboration, and want to make a real impact on operational efficiency and quality, this opportunity is for you!Why Choose Olymel?Growth opportunities and Job Security: Enjoy a stable job with opportunities for advancement.Company Culture: Be part of a close-knit, collaborative team where every contribution is valued.Advantages: Take advantage of competitive benefits and attractive compensation.General ResponsibilitiesSupervise and lead a team of technicians to ensure production & financial goals of the unit are metPerform required administrative duties, including work schedules, payroll timesheets, expenses, etcProvide training and mentoring to all staff to ensuring SOP's are available, followed and implementedProvide regular feedback to staff including through the annual performance evaluation programComply with company policies regarding the hiring, discipline and termination of employeesResponsible for planning work schedules for barn staff in accordance with labour budgetsLead or aid with the movement of pigs in and out of assigned unitEnsure unit is CPE & ACA compliantResponsible for implementing and following assigned feed budgets and provide feed bin inventories as requiredEnsure low stress animal handling practices are being followedImplement all biosecurity protocols, including shower in, shower out, rodent control, visitors, security of unit, etc.Work with Health Services to implement herd health protocols - sanitation, treatments, vaccinations,
