Join the University of Manitoba as a Seminar Leader for ENG 1430, supporting engineering design education through engagement and instructional support. This part time role is scheduled for the fall. As part of the Faculty of Agricultural & Food Sciences, you will have the responsibility of assisting in the Design in Engineering course, with 7 hours of work each week.
Your duties include preparing instructional materials, attending lectures, and conducting consultations with students. This is an excellent opportunity for a comprehensive learning experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in course planning and coordination meetings
- Develop handouts, assignments, and tests for students
- Grade student submissions accurately and fairly
- Offer scheduled consultation times to address student queries
- Participate in enhancing instructional materials and experiments
Requirements:
- Relevant academic expertise for instructional support
- Empathetic communication style with students
- Proficiency in English for course engagement
- Full-time enrollment at the University of Manitoba
- Valid work permit for international students
