Responsibilities

- Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in English and Math, tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style
- Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student goals
- Assess students’ progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure continuous improvement
- Create a positive, encouraging learning workplace that motivates students to participate actively
- Utilize computer skills to incorporate digital tools and educational software into lessons for enhanced engagement
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to monitor student progress and address any learning challenges
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions,

Qualifications

- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of English language arts, including reading, writing, and comprehension skills
- Proficiency in Math concepts across various grade levels, including algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic
- Teaching or tutoring experience demonstrating the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Excellent computer skills with familiarity using educational software or online learning platforms
- Classroom experience or background in special education is a plus
- Background in computer science or related fields is advantageous for integrating technology into lessons
