As a Waste Barge Deckhand, you will play a crucial role in the vessel's functionality, following company and regulatory standards. This position requires assisting in mooring, supporting maintenance, and handling ship-generated waste. Safety and adaptability are key, ensuring compliance with the Workboat Code and maintaining a high safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with mooring and unmooring operations
• Support planned maintenance onboard
• Load and unload waste from the vessel
• Conduct checks and report faults as needed
• Operate under the Coxswain’s direction
Requirements:
• Valid ML5 or ENG1 Medical Certificate
• Right to Work in the UK
• Commutable distance from Tees Port
• Willingness for additional training
• Full UK driving licence
