In this Cook role, your proficiency in food preparation and safety will be crucial. You will prepare, pre-cook, and ensure the presentation of high-quality dishes. A solid understanding of cooking methods and a valid Food Safety Certification are necessary, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute food preparation and cooking tasks efficiently
• Organize mise en place for high volume production
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and areas
• Label and store food items as per regulation
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
Requirements:
• Demonstrable cooking experience, ideally in restaurants
• Valid Food Safety Certification required
• Certificate from recognized culinary institution
• Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and procedures
• Capable of performing physical duties of the role
