I’m partnering with a well-established employee-owned engineering consulting firm that is looking to bring on a senior environmental leader to help drive the continued growth of their Vancouver operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical environmental consulting work with leadership, mentoring, client development, and strategic planning. The Vancouver environmental group is in a strong growth phase, offering the successful individual the opportunity to have a genuine impact on team development, market presence, and long-term business direction.

You would be joining a multidisciplinary organization with solid technical resources across Canada, while still having the autonomy to help shape and expand the local environmental practice. The successful candidate will lead a growing environmental team consisting of engineers, scientists, and technical professionals while overseeing a broad portfolio of environmental projects across a range of industries. This is a visible leadership role that combines operational management, project oversight, staff development, and business development responsibilities.

Areas of project involvement may include:



Environmental site assessments Remediation and risk management projects Waste management and landfill-related projects Hazardous materials and demolition assessments Geothermal and environmental infrastructure initiatives Regulatory compliance and environmental permitting Provide leadership and direction to the environmental group in Vancouver Oversee project execution, quality management, and client satisfaction Assist with strategic growth initiatives and business planning Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery Support hiring initiatives and long-term team growth Monitor operational and financial performance metrics for the departmentPromote a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused culture Degree in Environmental, Civil, Geological Engineering, or related discipline ~ 15+ years of environmental consulting experience ~ Strong project delivery and client management capabilities ~ Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building a practice ~ CSAP designation considered an asset ~ Hybrid and flexible work arrangements ~
