This position may be right for you.An on-call position.Practical and varied responsibilities.A compassionate and professional environment.Your RoleYou will actively participate in preparing the premises and help ensure that families are welcomed into a clean, orderly, and carefully arranged environment.This versatile position combines maintenance, material handling, room preparation, and support for funeral operations.Summary of ResponsibilitiesMaintain the cleanliness of the funeral complex's interior, including floors, washrooms, reception rooms, entrance doors and windows, flowers, and the showroom; Clean the columbariums and crypts as required; Replace burned-out light bulbs; Review the urn burial schedule and the funeral complex's daily agenda; Set up visitationrooms, chapels, and reception rooms; Arrange ashes, deceased persons,



flowers, and other amenities; Transfer deceasedpersons from the refrigerated room to visitation rooms or chapels; Order required supplies and verify deliveries, including coffee, tea, cups, sanitary products, cleaning supplies, stationery, and other related items; Prepare document packages for funeral directors; Refill the coffeemachine regularly and ensure that it is properly maintained; Empty garbage containers as needed; Perform any otherrelated duties.Candidate ProfileThis position is particularly well suited to someone who:Is currently studying or seeking employment involving practical and varied responsibilities; Has completed or is currently completing a high school diploma; Is in good physical condition and able to perform material-handling duties; Is comfortable working while standing and moving around frequently; Is comfortable performing cleaning and room setup duties; Demonstrates discretion, maturity, and respect; Has strong organizational and prioritization skills; Is independent, punctual, reliable, and attentive to detail; Can remain calm and professional in a sensitive workplace; Enjoys teamwork and providing practical support to colleagues.Employment ConditionsOn-call relief position; Completed or in-progress high school diploma; Availability and flexibility based on operational needs; Hourly wage of $25.61, in accordance with the collective agreement.An opportunity to gain practical work experience in a compassionate, professional, and respectful environment.See French version
