Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines to ensure optimal food handling practices
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to health and safety standards at all times
- Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and prioritizing tasks




- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver excellent food service experiences for guests

Requirements

- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar food preparation role within a restaurant or food service environment
- Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prior experience with serving customers directly is a plus but not required
