We are seeking an experienced Pet Groomer / Stylist with a minimum of 2 years of professional grooming experience. We are looking for a talented individual who takes pride in their craft and is interested in growing into a leadership role within an established and respected grooming salon.

Responsibilities

- Perform professional grooming services for dogs and cats
- Create custom styles based on breed, coat condition, and client preferences
- Execute high-quality hand scissoring and finishing work
- Produce teddy bear trims and Asian Fusion-inspired styling where appropriate
- Maintain the comfort and safety of pets throughout the grooming process
- Build strong relationships with clients and their pets
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Support daily salon operations and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
- Assist with salon leadership and management responsibilities as opportunities arise

Qualifications

Required:





- Minimum 2 years of professional pet grooming experience
- Ability to groom independently from start to finish
- Strong hand scissoring skills and attention to detail
- Experience with styling-focused grooming rather than primarily shave-down trims
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated

Preferred:

- Experience with Asian Fusion grooming styles
- Advanced finishing and styling techniques
- Cat grooming experience
- Interest in leadership, team development, and salon management

Compensation: $20-$30/hour based on experience, grooming ability, hand scissoring skills, productivity, and overall contribution to the salon. Eligible for tips after successful completion of the 3-month probation period. We are looking for a long-term team member who is interested in professional growth and may eventually take on leadership and salon management responsibilities.
