We are seeking a Dayforce Implementation Specialist to lead the implementation, optimization, and adoption of the Dayforce HCM platform across the organization. Acting as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME), this individual will work closely with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Operations, IT, and end users to ensure a successful rollout and ongoing enhancement of Dayforce.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on Dayforce implementation experience, a strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes, and a passion for training and supporting users through system and process changes.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the Dayforce Subject Matter Expert (SME) for implementation, configuration, and ongoing system enhancement.
- Lead Dayforce implementation activities, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to align system capabilities with operational needs.
- Support onboarding workflows and processes in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition and HR teams.
- Configure and maintain Dayforce modules, security roles, workflows, and reporting.
- Develop training materials, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Deliver training sessions to HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, managers, and end users to ensure successful adoption of the platform.
- Act as the primary point of contact for system-related questions, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)



and assist with issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate processes, and enhance the employee experience through Dayforce functionality.
- Support payroll and HR processes while ensuring compliance with applicable employment and payroll legislation.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of Dayforce experience, including implementation, configuration, or optimization projects.
- Robust knowledge of Payroll, HR, Talent Acquisition, and employee onboarding processes.
- Strong payroll background
- Relevant post‑secondary education, such (IT, Accounting, Payroll)
- PCP (Payroll Compliance Professional designation) an asset
- Experience training end users and developing system training materials.
- Proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting change management and user adoption initiatives.
- Knowledge of Canadian payroll and HR practices preferred.
