Our client in the Mining and Manufacturing sector is looking for a Saudi National HSE Manager for its industrial operations site in Saudi Arabia to lead and manage site-wide HSE, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and company standards.The client is only considering Saudi Arabian nationals for this role.This is a leadership role responsible for driving EHS strategy, contractor governance, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, incident management, and the development of a strong safety culture across the site.What You'll DoDevelop and execute the annual EHS plan, emergency readiness plan, and site EHS performance targets; monitor KPIs and reportperformance to leadership.Provide leadership and governance over contractor EHS performance, including SOW requirements, mobilization readiness, audits/inspections, and enforcement of corrective actions.Lead incident management for high-potential events, ensure timely investigations, validate root causes, and drive closure of actions with strong accountability and audit defensibility.Ensure effective risk management: approve risk assessments for high-risk work, verify implementation of critical controls, and conduct field leadership engagements and assurance checks.Oversee emergency drills, and emergency response capability,
ensuring alignment with applicable standards and site needs.Maintain strong interface with external stakeholders and regulators (e.G., Royal Commission/HCIS as applicable), support inspections/audits, and ensure timely closure of findings and compliance evidence.Lead governance meetings, prepare executive reports, and engage regulators/clientsLead and develop the site EHS team through coaching, capability building, performance management, and succession planning; foster a proactive safety culture.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline (Master's degree preferred).10–15 years of EHS experience in industrial operations, including at least 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role with accountability for site EHS performance, contractor governance, and emergency management.NEBOSH Diploma (preferred) / NEBOSH IGC (minimum) or equivalent.ISO 45001 internal/lead auditor qualification .Strong leadership and influencing skills; able to set direction, hold stakeholders accountable, and drive sustained improvements.Competent in emergency management, incident command coordination, and crisis communications.Solid analytical and reporting skills; comfortable with KPIs, dashboards, and executive presentations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
