We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented Facilities & Event Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in creating exceptional event spaces, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Facilities Services Attendant

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Services Attendant supports the day-to-day setup, presentation, and operation of Club spaces. The role is responsible for preparing and resetting meeting rooms, banquet spaces, dining areas, and outdoor event venues, completing light cleaning duties, and providing basic audio-visual support for meetings and events.

The Facilities Services Attendant works closely with the Facilities, Food & Beverage, and Events teams to ensure Club spaces are clean, organized, properly set, and ready for members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, reset, and tear down meeting rooms, banquet spaces, dining rooms, and event areas according to event requirements and Club standards
- Arrange and move tables, chairs, staging, podiums, and other event equipment
- Set up and assist with basic audio-visual equipment, including screens, projectors, televisions, microphones, and presentation equipment
- Complete light cleaning duties associated with room preparation, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, and ensuring spaces are presentable
- Complete room transitions efficiently between meetings and functions




- Assist with outdoor event setups and Club functions as required
- Maintain event equipment, storage areas, and setup supplies in a clean and organized manner
- Identify and report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns to the Facilities Manager
- Support the Facilities team with general operational tasks as required
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure member and guest spaces are prepared to a high standard

Qualifications

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Previous hospitality, event setup, facilities, or similar experience is an asset
- Experience with basic audio-visual equipment is an asset
- Training will be provided for the right candidate

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Ability to safely move tables, chairs, staging, and event equipment
- Comfortable climbing stairs and using ladders when required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
