SeekinSeeking a 1-2 month locum in Minden ON to relieve a physician who is ill.

The time frame for this locum is completely flexible; however the physician would like at least two months of locum coverage.

Location

The clinic is located at the Minden Medical Clinic, McPherson St, Minden, ON K0M 2K0.

Team and Practice

We are a group of 8 physicians practicing family medicine in the Haliburton Highlands and Minden area, affiliated with the Haliburton Highlands Family Health Team. The clinic operates as a satellite office and is part of an 8-physician FHO located in Haliburton.

The clinic is open 4.5 days per week.

Compensation

Approximately $1,060 per day.

Responsibilities





The successful Family Physician will be a contracted physician with the Haliburton Highlands FHO and will provide comprehensive primary care to enrolled patients of the FHO, as well as affiliated, unaffiliated, and visitor patients. The Family Physician will work closely with other physicians, nurse practitioners, RNs, dieticians, social workers, and a chiropodist to ensure the patient receives the right care from the right skilled at the right time.

No OB. No on-call.

Emergency Department shifts and/or inpatient coverage are also available.

Qualifications

Licensed to practice family medicine in Ontario.

Work Environment

Living and working in a beautiful small rural town known as a cottage destination year-round. Working solo however connected through the HFO to a supportive and collegial medical team and administration off-site.
