This role requires a candidate with significant experience in quality assurance for high-voltage equipment, ideally with eight years in T&D.; You will oversee quality management from supplier qualification through to commissioning, working directly with engineers and project teams. Your contributions will support reliable power delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct risk management for high-voltage equipment • Establish and review inspection and quality control processes • Perform detailed inspections throughout equipment lifecycle • Manage documentation of non-conformances and corrective actions • Support compliance and turnover of quality records
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent • Minimum eight years of relevant quality assurance experience • Registration or eligibility as a Professional Engineer in BC • Familiarity with T&D; equipment and quality management systems • Strong observational and problem-solving capabilities
