Job Title: Farmers Market Sales Associate (Spirits & Whisky)

Location: Calgary, Alberta – Calgary Farmers Markets. Both South and West

Schedule: Part time Wed - Sunday

To expand our presence and reach new audiences, we are seeking a Farmers Market Associate to join our team.

Position Overview: As a Sale Associate, you will represent our brand at the Calgary farmers markets, showcasing and selling our premium spirits and whisky. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with people, has a passion for spirits, and thrives in a dynamic, community-based setting. The position is full year-round position.

Responsibilities

- Open and close our booth the farmers markets.
- Assist with liquor orders, counts, and orders of products as needed.
- Educate customers about our products, including the distillation process, flavor profiles, and suggested pairings.
- Conduct tastings to provide customers with an immersive experience and encourage sales.
- Maintain inventory levels, handle cash transactions,



and reconcile sales at the end of each market day.
- Collaborate with the Manager to execute promotional activities and attract foot traffic to our booth.
- Monitor market trends and provide feedback to the manager to optimize product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and market guidelines.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred.
- Strong knowledge and appreciation of spirits and whisky.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively engage with customers.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to handle alcohol sales.
- Current and active ProServe certification.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts.
- Able to stand/work on your feet for up to 8 hours.
- Requires a reliable scheduling for opening and closing.
