Farmers Market Sales Representative

Job Brief

We are in search of a dedicated and customer-focused individual to represent and sell our mead products at the Bountiful Farmers’ Market.

Training will be provided to learn about our products, processes and background of our company.

Responsibilities

- Provide information about our products
- Provide tastings to potential customers
- Assist customers in making purchases
- Handle cash transactions and operate electronic point-of-sales device
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the market stall
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as necessary
- Actively engage with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Promote sales through special promotions, customer engagement, and product knowledge

Qualifications

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Be of legal age to serve liquor and possess or able to obtain an Alberta Pro Serve licence
- Experience in retail, sales, or related field preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately




- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time and lift cases of wine/mead
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with a diverse range of people
- Availability to work weekends
