We are currently seeking a Field Project Controller to join our Field Construction Management team on a pipeline project in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the project budget from start to finish, while providing accurate cost and progress reporting.

You Will:

- Monitor and manage project cost reporting, scheduling and forecasting from start through completion
- Oversee, track and validate all contractor daily tickets (LEMs, UPI’s, etc.) and field progress reports
- Prepare and provide accurate daily progress updates, construction summaries and cost reports to the Client and Construction Management Team
- Analyze actual costs and progress against the forecast and budget, identifying trends, variances and potential risks
- Review,



support and process progress invoicing for multiple contractors in alignment with their contract terms
- Track and trend project costs regularly using provided tracking sheets against the project budget
- Manage, review and support in processing change orders related to project scope, budget, and/or schedule
- Track and verify Unit Price Items (UPIs) against project budget and forecast remaining quantities
- Collaborate closely with the Construction Management and Inspection team to ensure accurate daily reporting

You have:

- Post-secondary Education in Project Management, Business, Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of Project Controls experience within the energy sector
- Prior field-based experience on pipeline/construction projects is preferred
- Robust data analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills to provide project updates during progress meetings
- Excellent collaboration skills, time management and ability to work independently onsite
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint)
- Willing and able to work in remote locations, remaining onsite in a field office for extended periods
