The Waseskun Healing Community, established in 1988, is a dynamic organization committed to providing a supportive healing workplace for the men in our care. As one of six (6) Indigenous healing lodges—and the only one located east of Manitoba—we offer a unique approach to addressing past traumatic life experiences, including those associated with residential schools. Our multidisciplinary team includes spiritual Elders and helpers, program staff, and administrative personnel.

Developing individualized healing plans based on each resident's life story and experiences

- Incorporating the objectives of each healing plan into a framework for monitoring and documenting residents' progress
- Ensuring that our partners are informed of each resident's progress or lack thereof
- Collaborating with the Waseskun team and community partners to support residents' successful and positive reintegration into their families and communities
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
- Ability to work in an environment that balances traditional healing practices with assessment and risk-management requirements
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
