Join the Developmental Disabilities Association as a Child and Youth Worker, creating engaging afterschool programs in Renfrew-Collingwood. This permanent part-time position focuses on service to youth with disabilities.
You will play a key role in delivering enriching leisure programs tailored for youth, promoting learning and individual skill development. With a schedule that includes Monday afternoons and Tuesday through Friday, you’ll have the chance to utilize your creativity in developing inclusive activities, especially during school breaks when hours increase to full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design enriching activities for youth with disabilities
• Ensure a protected and inclusive environment




• Collaborate with other professionals in program delivery
• Adapt activities based on individual needs and interests
• Participate in ongoing training and development
Requirements:
• Certificate in Therapeutic Recreation or similar field
• At least 1 year experience with youth in recreation
• Strong team building and interpersonal skills
• Ability to obtain Class 4 Driver's License
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
