Seaspan is looking for a Cloud Data Administrator based in Vancouver, BC, to support our Azure data platform with a focus on Databricks and data governance. Your role is key to improving data operations.

As part of our Data Operations team, you will administer cloud data platforms and manage data pipelines. Your efforts will enhance data quality, security, and integration capabilities across the organization. Proficiency in data engineering and Azure services is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities: • Implement and monitor job workflows and pipelines • Manage Databricks environment and user access • Design and optimize data pipelines for integration • Collaborate across teams for data-driven solutions • Create explicit documentation and training resources

Requirements: • At least 4 years of experience in related roles • Expertise in Apache Spark, SQL, and Python • Understanding of data architecture and governance • Degree in Computer Science or related area • Familiarity with Azure cloud services is preferred
