Role Description The Finance Manager at Bannister Kia Penticton, based on-site in Penticton, BC, is a full-time role responsible for managing all aspects of vehicle financing and insurance products for customers. Day-to-day, the Finance Manager reviews credit applications, secures approvals with lending partners, and presents tailored financing and protection options that align with customer needs and regulatory requirements. The role includes preparing and finalizing financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Manager collaborates closely with the sales team to support the delivery of a seamless customer experience and contributes to dealership profitability through effective product presentation and sound financial practices. Ongoing responsibilities also include monitoring finance performance metrics, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of lending guidelines, and adhering to company policies and DRIVEN values.

Qualifications

- Solid financial acumen, including experience with credit analysis, loan structures, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of automotive financing, leasing, and insurance products, ideally within a dealership environment.
- Proficiency with finance software, CRM systems, and standard office tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to build relationships with lenders, financial partners, and internal sales teams.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills, including experience presenting value-added products.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced, on-site dealership environment and manage multiple customer files simultaneously.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Business Manager, or in automotive or retail finance is an asset.
