Financial Analyst

Prairie North Const. Ltd. is a civil contractor, specializing in road construction, environmental remediation and earthworks for over 25 years. We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst based in Edmonton and the Greater Area.

We're looking for a Financial Analyst who combines strong accounting fundamentals with a passion for process improvement, systems optimization, and automation.

This role owns key components of the monthly accounting cycle while partnering with leadership to improve reporting, streamline manual processes, maximize enterprise resource planning capabilities, and support future technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate is someone who questions inefficient processes and enjoys building scalable, sustainable solutions.

What you'll do:

- Improve and automate finance processes.
- Support reporting, analysis, and reporting requirements.
- Help drive finance systems enhancements and future implementation projects.
- Redesign manual transactional routines into standardized, technology driven processes with embedded controls and clear documentation.

What you'll bring:

- 3+ years of accounting,



finance and operations experience
- Enrolled in the CPA program
- Solid full-cycle accounting knowledge.
- Demonstrated success improving and automating business processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and enterprise resource planning experience.
