Join YWCA Kitchener-Waterloo as a Full-Time Registered Early Childhood Educator. This time-limited role focuses on nurturing children's growth, operating Monday to Friday from 11:30 AM to 6 PM.
In this position, you will assist in the development of children through creative play and structured learning in the Childcare Centre and School-Age Program. You're expected to cultivate engaging experiences that support children's socialization and adapt to their interests, contributing to positive relationships between peers and adults.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create developmentally appropriate learning opportunities
• Encourage social behaviors through group games and activities
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues effectively




• Maintain compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act
• Contribute to a secure and encouraging environment for children
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Educator Diploma
• Registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C certification
• Safe Food Handling certification
