This 12-month term role, reporting to the Manager, Tax Reporting & Compliance, involves preparing income tax provisions and indirect tax returns. You'll collaborate with financial teams and external auditors while conducting essential tax law research. Ideal candidates have a keen eye for detail and experience with tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and review annual and quarterly tax provisions • File indirect taxes and income tax returns accurately • Work with financial reporting to address tax-related inquiries • Support tax audits while maintaining auditor relations • Develop effective tax compliance processes and conduct research
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree focusing on Accounting is required • 5+ years of experience in tax roles • History of interaction with tax auditors • Strong planning and organizational abilities • Excellent negotiation and persuasive communication
