Edmonton Fingerprinting Services is an RCMP-accredited organization providing fingerprints-based criminal record checks. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team in a dual role combining fingerprinting and administrative responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform fingerprinting for security clearance purposes
- Process criminal record information requests
- Handle customer service inquiries via phone, email and in person
- Manage payment processing and daily cash deposits
- Coordinate appointments and maintain scheduling system
- Handle general office administration including email correspondence
- Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records
Administrative Duties:
- Monitor and respond to incoming communications
- Manage document collection and client follow-up
- Handle courier arrangements
- Perform opening/closing duties including light cleaning
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed
Perform other administrative tasks as may be required. May be required to work on weekends on a rotation basis.
Required Qualifications:
- Must pass a fingerprints-based criminal record check
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift 40 lbs
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
Desired Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education
- Proficiency in a second language
- Social media marketing and graphic design experience
- Previous professional services experience
