We are seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating skid steers to support various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy machinery, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience as a finish grade skid steer operator is required. The successful candidate will contribute to the timely and safe completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Operate skid steers
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries on-site
- Collaborate with team members to complete construction tasks efficiently and accurately
- Support various construction activities
- Maintain detailed records of equipment usage and maintenance activities
Skills
- Proven experience as a finish skid steer operator
- Mechanical knowledge related to skid steer maintenance and troubleshooting
- Robust understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
