- Inspecting and testing fire hoses




- Ensuring timely and quality completion of work orders
- Monitoring parts inventory and equipment maintenance requirements
- Following all safe work practices and safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job
- Participating in on-call/call out emergency service as required. Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on technical work (automotive, heavy equipment, industrial, electrical, or similar backgrounds all translate well) Strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to follow procedures Nice to have (not required): coursework or experience in automotive, heavy equipment, industrial mechanic, electrical, or fire protection technology Don’t have fire shop experience yet?
