Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Flashing Labourer to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for manufacturing aluminum and steel flashing, panels, trims, and other architectural building components using brake forming and related fabrication equipment.

The ideal candidate will have good mechanical aptitude, robust attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Previous metal fabrication or manufacturing experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Schedule

- Shift: Night Shift
- Regular Hours: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Training Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM during the training period
- Training will be provided before transitioning to the regular shift schedule
- Full-time position

Duties
- Manufacture aluminum and steel flashing and related architectural building components
- Operate fabrication equipment including shears, slashers, computerized brakes, hand brakes, and other shop machinery
- Measure angles, lengths, and dimensions accurately using tape measures, protractors, and other measuring tools
- Brake-form aluminum and steel sheets into panels, trims, and custom components
- Cut material from master coils according to work orders and specifications
- Read work orders, specifications, and basic drawings and follow verbal instructions
- Inspect finished products for accurate dimensions, quality, and workmanship
- Package and label finished products appropriately




- Move and transport materials manually or using a forklift
- Maintain accurate inventory practices for coil stock and other materials
- Record completed work and material waste as required
- Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues to the supervisor
- Perform basic equipment cleaning, lubrication, troubleshooting, and minor repairs as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices

Skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Previous metal fabrication, sheet metal, or manufacturing experience is an asset
- Strong reliability and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
