As an Engineering Assistant , you will support the Process Engineers when launching new automated equipment, support operations through simple CI initiatives, and help document and train for new & improved processes.

This job offers:

- Day Shift (8:00am – 4:30pm) Mon – Fri
- 40 hours per week
- $25.00/hour starting wage

Duties :

- Work with Process Engineers on the shop floor to collect and analyze data for process improvement
- Assist Process Engineers with Project implementation and Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Assist Process Engineers to accelerate or mitigate any challenges that arise in operations
- Develop various technical documents such as Work Instructions and Procedures in conjunction with the Process Engineers and our Technical Writing team




- Provide hands-on support in a production environment to non-technical employees.

Requirements:

- Completion of Mechanical or Engineering Technologist or Bachelors program
- Own transportation and driver’s license (preferred)
- Practical attitude and ability to learn new tasks
- Basic understanding of automated manufacturing principles and techniques
- Robust awareness of safety
- Able to clear criminal records check
