Equipment Operators - Civil Projects - 14/7 - Up to $45/hr - Barriere, BC
Simpcw Resources Group is seeking experienced Equipment Operators for civil projects in Barriere, British Columbia. This project-term role involves operating a variety of heavy equipment across multiple project sites, supporting civil construction activities in all weather conditions. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, skilled with various equipment, and able to work a 14/7 rotation while contributing to both equipment operation and general site activities.

What You’ll Need
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating equipment in civil construction, earthworks, road construction, or related environment
- Proven competency with skid steers, mini excavators, excavators, dozers, graders, wheel loaders, or similar heavy equipment
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clean abstract (Class 1 or 3 an asset)
- Ability to work a 14/7 rotational schedule with up to 12-hour shifts
- Willingness and ability to travel to project locations (Hinton, Jasper, Valemount, Clearwater, Kamloops)
- Experience with loading, unloading, securing, and transporting equipment/materials on flat deck trailers (asset)
- WHMIS and CSTS certifications required; Ground Disturbance Level II an asset
- Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and safe operating procedures
- Physically capable of manual labour and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to work independently
- Willingness to assist with general labour and site support activities
- Compliance with pre-site-access drug and/or alcohol testing if required
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence
- Experience with ground disturbance and transporting equipment
- Preference for Indigenous ancestry and/or residence in North Thompson Valley
