Food and Beverage Cashier

Summary

Food and Beverage Cashier are some of our most valuable front line people and are key to ensuring quality customer service and experience. The F&B; Cashier is responsible for receiving and ordering guest’s meals and communicating clearly to the kitchen staff of any special requirements. They serve food and beverages and also handle any customer inquiries or concerns.

Job Duties

- Receiving and ordering guests meals and communicate clearly to the kitchen staff of any special requirements
- Serving food and beverages to guests following proper standards and guidelines
- Using suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience
- Interacting with guests and respond knowledgeably to inquiries about the menu, prices, promotions, specials, services and features of the casino
- Completing various opening, closing and running side duties as assigned
- Following all food safety and sanitation practices
- Handling various cash, comp, debit and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Making eye contact and offer a warm sincere greeting and fond farewell
- Using guests name at least once in every transaction
- Thanking the guest for visiting and ask about additional needs
- Providing support as a Food and Beverage Server when required
- Handling timed orders and to-go orders accurately and efficiently, as requested




- Maintaining stock and cleanliness of FUN Noodle Bar and corresponding condiment station and seating area
- Running meals from the kitchen to the guest or outlet for pick up
- Providing fast, friendly, efficient coffee cart service to guests as assigned

- Handling any additional responsibilities, in various Food and Beverage outlets, as assigned

Requirements

- AGLC Pro-Serve certification
- Able to maintain security clearance
- Previous experience working in a fast paced restaurant or bar environment
- Must be available to work days, evenings and weekends
- Fluent in the English language
- Have reliable means of transportation
- The schedule for this position may vary and require the ability to work shift work, late nights, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
- A team player who is willing to learn new skills
- Energetic with a great personality and sense of humor
- Be approachable and hospitable
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment with a variety of customers
- Process high standards in customer service

Work Conditions

- Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs. using proper lifting techniques – responsible for stocking non-alcoholic beverages
- Must be able to stand for prolonged time periods
- Must be able to bend to reach shelves
- Must be able to carry a serving tray with drinks/food
- Must be able to carry out light cleaning duties
- Must be available to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holiday
- Must be able to work in a quick-paced working environment
