Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and ensure food safety will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for our customers.

Duties

- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the food service area, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.

Experience

- Previous experience in the food service industry for at least 6 months is preferred, with a focus on restaurant experience.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
