In this vital role, you will act as the communication hub between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, coordinating food preparation and presentation to uphold our high standards of quality and service. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a lively, productive atmosphere that delights our guests and supports our talented culinary team.

Duties

- Act as the central communication point between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Verify that all dishes meet presentation standards and are free of errors before serving to guests
- Organize and prioritize incoming food orders to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during handling, plating, and delivery of dishes
- Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, including garnishing and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness in the expediting station, including wiping down surfaces and organizing utensils and plates




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to resolve any order discrepancies or delays quickly and efficiently

Skills

- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure
- Familiarity with food preparation, plating techniques, and basic cooking skills is a plus
- Experience in hotel or barista settings enhances understanding of guest services and hospitality standards
